Can you complete two majors from two schools in American?

If I want to major in IS in the School of International Service, * and * Anthropology in the College of Arts and Sciences as a double major degree… is that possible?

And would it be difficult to double major, especially when one’s a science driven major, and the other is a social studies driven major?

It isn’t hard (in the sense of time constraints and coursework)? Especially as when I get to college I want to be involved in community service/church/etc… Does your son have any advice?

I’m a double major in SPA and SOC. AU is very generous in terms of granting credits for AP scores, so that makes it even easier. The only inconvenient thing is my advisor is connected with my Political Science major, so I have to go to a different SOC advisor about my Comm major. It’s not that difficult to schedule advising appointments, though, so it’s a minor issue.
However, it’s going to be more difficult in your case. An SIS major is one of the most popular, but also one of the more difficult ones that AU offers, partly because of the language requirement. An SIS/Anthropology double major is doable, but try to fulfill as many of the requirements as possible with credits from AP scores.
