Hey guys, I’m wondering if I can earn a degree completely online with no prior college experience or credit. I really dislike classroom learning and came across online degree programs and it sounds great to me. The only credit that I think could potentially go towards college credit are a couple duel credit classes I took in high school. So is it possible to earn a degree completely online with no prior college experience?
Yes, stick to non-profit public schools for best value.

“Online learning also has its downsides, and not every subject is suited for online education, though even some surprising fields like fine arts are starting to embrace it. Prospective students should be on the lookout for scams; in addition to checking whether a program has accreditation, they should research university faculty and support services at colleges where they plan to apply, such as the ability to interact with advisers virtually.”

I noticed some of the schools advertised on the usnews site are actually for profit schools. Be very careful choosing your program, online isn’t usually cheaper than the traditional classroom. Choosing a well regarded regional school with a strong career services office with internship and co-op opportunities can be very helpful if you are trying to get into a new field that differs from the one you are currently employed in.
What do you plan to study and why do you dislike classroom learning?
Yeah, it’s possible to earn degree from home. And I have heard about some reputed universities which allow students to earn degree by studying at home. Where are you located? And what kind of degree would you like to achieve?
I think classroom learning is much interesting. Because in this way you can meet some good peoples.
