we visited last week--overall impression was good---friendly,rather mainstream looking students, decent food and dorms, attractive campus with older historical looking buildings--located in hispanic-asian working class neighborhood that could alienate some not accustomed to that sort of millieu but certainly did not seem at all dangerous.not much happening in worcester, mass! boston an easy 45 min. drive away, son attended an ecology and japanese class and was impressed w. the profs--seemed to be a higher # of foreign students than in other schools.because he was not allowed to spend the night in the dorm it was hard for our son to get a strong sense of the place.he really liked the holocaust studies center.on friday night the campus was very quiet w. not much activity .
