Are you able to retake SATIIs? If so, do colleges still see the lower score of the test you retook? And does it look bad if you do retake the test? Would I be better off leaving my score as is, or should I try and get a better score?

i'm curious about this too

You can definitely retake them--it might be easier to improve on some than on others. I guess you only list your best score, but all your scores are sent together to a college, so it would probably be a good idea to retake only if you did really badly, or expect a big improvement.

You can retake any SAT test as many times as you like and all the scores show up, from past times too. If you have a really bad score like 520, then retake. If you have something like 710, then I wouldn't retake, but I think some people here would retake a 790 just because they're perfectionists like that.

^^LoL. Well, I got a 690 in US History (which is OK i guess) and a 640 in Biology (which I was more disappointed about). I guess I can study a little over the summer and if I feel that I will improve my score significantly I'll retake them. Well, thanks guys.

br9172, I'm in your exact position! 690 USH, 640 Bio, lol. I'm thinking of retaking one, but I don't think I'll retake both because I'll be taking 2 more in October.

coincidence! LoL. yeah, I will focus on one also..

br9172 and jess0128 I am also in a similar position...I got 650 USH and 670 Bio...will be retaking Bio for sure....Might take a science or LIT SAT II to make up for the USH score....this October
