i took 3 sat iis on may 5...don't know what i got yet, but if a score is not high enough, is it bad to take one or more over?

no i dun think so. i am retaking bio. took before AP;now taking after AP

yeah that's the thing for me with us hist and chem. i feel like i could do a lot better after AP

i have retaken math 2...very much worth it. i dont think it can hurt at all, especially if their is a significant lapse of time betwen the tests (like a year).

I'm retaking Bio, as well. First time was after Honors, this time after the AP.

i got a 780 on Math II. Should i retake?

hmm so colleges dont necessarily look down upon retaking satiis? cause i know they only take the best scores of satis

780 on math?!!? OF COURSE YOU SHOULD RETAKE!

If you did not have enough time to prepare it, you should take it again. I know lots of students had multiple tests at the same time as well as work commitment so they don't have time to prep. I know D could have used more time but her score turned out ok so she does not have to retake.

780 on Math II? looks like remedial math at community college...

:-)

We think: in the 700's will help you, in the 600's won't have much effect, and in the 500's will hurt you.

What the hell is wrong is with IvyPremed2b? Why is s/he trolling all the threads?

i have been told by a number of admission officers(elite schools) that anything over 700 is fine and they realize the difference between a 720 and 760 has no significance

IvyPremed2b is loco
