Hi, I was wondering if I could send in my applications to colleges before I send in my SAT subject test scores, if I send in the scores before the deadline. Is this okay? Do you have to send scores with your application?
You can order scores sent before you apply and if they arrive before the application, the college will match them to the application when it arrives. You can also send them after you apply as long as you do not send them too late in relation to the final application deadline. Many colleges actually tell you on their sites the last test date accepted or the last date by which scores must be received, which in many cases is actually somewhat after the application deadline, e.g., the ivies have early Jan application deadlines but all accept through the Jan SAT test.
