can you take online classes at UF?

title says it all. thanks!

Yes. Yes you can.

how exactly...i go to UF currently and I'm interested in taking classes online.

You just sign up for them. Have you ever taken Man's Food (FOS2001?).

If you look under the course listings, there's always a selection for "Web Courses." Those courses are all online. I can't really give you exactly how to do online courses though because each professor has his/her own requirements. Most of them have you post some kind of response to a topic on WebCT or come on campus to take tests but that's pretty much it.

Does this kind of clear it up for you? If you have anymore questions/want me to clear something else up just ask or PM me :-)

To see all the available online courses, go here
<a href="http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc/%5B/url%5D">http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc/</a>
Under "Spring 2008" there's a section called Web Courses. Click that and on the pop-up window that appears there's a drop-down box that has the various departments that offer online classes. Select that department to view all offered online classes for the current term.

so is there a limit to the number of credits you can take online? could you take only online classes if you wanted to?

You can take as many as you want. My roommate has all online classes except for one.

There are two bachelors degrees offered via distance learning:
* Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
* Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services
