Can you take the SAT again while you're IN college?

(to make your application stand out a bit more in case banks come up with a standard cutoff score for their selection process)..would they still accept it if you decide to retake it in college?

I have a 740 math, 750 critical reading, and 780 writing
2270 total

lol@ 1. the idea of taking the SAT again in college (i dont think there’d be anything stopping you though if you really wanted.
and 2. the idea that a higher SAT score than 2270 would help you get into banking. I don’t think banks use an SAT cutoff really (maybe if it happens to be really really low). GPA is what mess up people more often. You’d get more out of spending the 4-5 hours you would spend taking the SAT again just getting ready for interviews.

Some banks will ask to take a peak at your scores.

You can, but there’s very little purpose to it if you’ve already got a 2270.

What if you didn’t do well, would it be worth it? I only got a 1900-2000, so would it be worth it for someone like me to retake it?

Lol thanks for the encouragement, you guys. I know that 2270 isn’t a bad score but was just worried since math (740) is probably not as good, considering who I’ll be competing with if I ever do end up applying for IB jobs.

bump bump!!

You are giving your competition for banking jobs too much credit.

2270 is solid! I’ve seen people break into banking with much less than that that! SAT scores don’t matter that much, although most banks asks for them.

It might actually be counter-productive to retake SAT’s. Banks expect you to be maturing. SAT’s are associated w/ HS. Your college GPA is more important than your SAT.

They do ask for your SAT score, but yours are excellent! Don’t waste your time retaking the SAT.
