Can you test out of or transfer community college credits to top colleges?

Hi,

I am on track to take AP Calc BC Junior year, which leaves me with no higher math course to take senior year. I am a heavily STEM-oriented student hoping to get into top 10 STEM schools. If I take a higher-level calculus at my local community college, will I be able to transfer those credits or at least test out of those classes once I get to college?

I am planning on applying to the following schools:
UC Berkeley, Caltech, Stanford, UPenn, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, MIT, Duke, Pitt

Do any of these schools either accept credit for community college classes or allow you to test out of certain classes?

You need to check with each college to see if they accept AP and CC coursework.

Aren’t you a freshman – don’t get too far ahead of yourself.
