<p>I doubt you can, though I’ve seen people who were able to do it before due to some “connections”. But normally you would have to attend for two years then transfer. The big question is why would transfer from Berkeley to LA, their both equally reputable colleges.
*Note: Careful about Berkeley, they might ruin your GPA to the point transfer is impossible. I say its easier to transfer from LA to Berkeley, not the other way around.</p>

<p>The conventional method of transferring occurs after your second year. Like hakuex has said, you’ll still need to be on top of your game to achieve a high enough GPA to be able to do so.</p>
<p>Short answer is yes. Long answer is: it depends.</p>
