Canadian Applying to Ivies?

<p>Hi! I was just had a few questions regarding Canadian admissions to Ivy league colleges. How many Canadians would you say are admitted every year, and how many are applying? What grades would I need in the Canadian system in order to have a shot of being accepted? Is it harder for international students such as Canadians to be accepted into these schools as opposed to American students? I currently have a 94+ in every single one of my classes; what would those marks be equivalent to in the American system? My dream is to make it to Harvard, Columbia or Princeton, and any advice or insight would be helpful. Thanks :)</p>

<p>Hi escape freedom. there are a few threads here about admission to ivies - check the school you want search. There is no separate pile for Canadians. All the same things apply such as GREAT scores on the ACT or SAT, high number of APs, evidence that you have an EC demonstrating passion. 94% in Canadian marks is fine but they look at all high school years. <p>As a Canadian, I am interested too. Are there any statistics (or a ballpark) of Canadian applicants? By province, acceptance rate, fields, stats, etc?</p>

<p>You will not find that level of detail, Astrotech. You are an international applicant and will be in that pool, not in the American pool. Yet there does seem to be a higher amount of students from Canada than other countries. See column B for undergraduates:
