Canadian Colleges--money

I was born in the US, and have lived and gone to school here my entire life. My dad was born in Canada and came to the states when he was like 25. Because of this I was able to get dual US/Canadian citizenship.

At the school sites that I've seen it says that tuition is less for citizens, and more for non-citizens; it doesn't say for residents/non-residents. However, for some reason I'd always assumed that I didn't qualify for reduced tuition because of my residence (I guess I'd feel like I was cheating because of my lack of Canadianess).

Does anybody know which tuition I pay? I emailed someone at a school but they've yet to get back to me.

If it has two prices for citizens and non-citizens, I expect you'd pay the citizen price. I know several Canadian parents who are basically counting on that for their US-born Canadian citizen children when the kids apply to college in two or three years. One parent has as much as told me that the kids will ONLY be allowed to look at Canadian schools because of the money situation.

In addition, as a Canadian citizen, you would be able to get a part-time job off campus if you liked, because you wouldn't face the work permit problems a non-citizen would.
