Canadian Election- What do Other Canadien Students Think?

The Canadien Election is tomorow and I'm curious to know if students, like my self, will vote. I'm backing the green party my self because all the 3 major parties are not trustable. Will you send in your vote or not vote at all?

How are you voting, exactly? You're 15, according to your profile.

I'll be backing the Liberals. The alternatives are not very enticing.

And don't waste your vote on the Greens, if the only reason you're voting for them is because the three major parties are untrustworthy.

I inputed my wrong birth year. I'd change it if I could.

Time to put the Liberal Crime Syndicate out of misery.

GO CPC

i am voting marxist-leninist. cause i'm the candidate in my riding

That's frightening.

I'm not Canadian, but I like to follow Canadian politics. From what I have seen I really have a taken a liking to Mr. Layton's party...

IVYPoison are you serious? Taking YPS to the next level I see... lol!

Right now I don't really like any of the major federal parties. Jack Layton has been the best leader, in terms of debates and presentation, etc, but I don't think the NDP has the best fiscal policies. Growing up in Alberta, I think that while the conservatives have done something right (surplus?), we're lacking in a lot of areas (education!) and I don't agree with the conservative stance on social issues. I guess I have a liberal philosophy... but the Liberal party right now is pretty terrible. No options.

So who is watching the election coverage tonight???

Who cares about Canadian politics? The country sucks and need to be colonized by USA.

Oh, is that why it has a higher overall Human Development Index than the US?

I'd be very surprised to not see the election outcome of a CPC minority.

I think an early indicator to watch come election night would be the response that Ontario gives, andI think it will point to a CPC minority. I think that Layton has played his cards very nicely, and the NDP might steal a couple from the Liberals though.

Yeah. Some say CPC has a chance at a majority.. but I really doubt they will get a majority. They could come close (145 ~ 150 seats), but I really doubt they can get 155.

I do think it looks better for the CPC then it did when they initially were forecasting how the elections would turn out after the vote of no confidence. But my money is on 147, just as a playful guess to see if I'm psychic :).

looks like it's a conservative minority :(

A weak minority, at that.

Ya the Conservitives had 122 seats, Libs 105,Bloc 51, NDP 31 i think.

Hell yes, Conservatives won.

So, which party would be more antagonistic towards the Bush administration? They'd get my vote! :D

That would be the corrupt Libtards.
