Canadian or US currency in the net price?

It says on the page linked below that it would cost a little over 18k dollars to attend McGill for 2015-16. Is this in canadian or US currency? It was my understanding that it was around 23k in US dollars. also, besides the price of commute to Canada, what else would a US student have to pay for that stacks on to this price?

McGill is in Canada. Why on earth would it quote its prices in anything but Canadian dollars?

@GMTplus7 it just seems so cheap. plus, i’ve read that it costs exactly 23k from other sources which would be the price in CAD if the 18k was in USD. it’s a dumb question, i know.

International tuition varies by faculty and program. Look it up on the website. It lists tuition by program and other academic and activity fees.

Then there is room and board of course.
