Cause it's a part of life in college. I mean, I live in Quebec, so we take it for granted...but I can see how an American who has to wait until s/he is 21 can get excited.

of course some cheap schools dont have any other languages, except french :(

where r u guys applying for college?

U of Chicago here.

Alors, voici mes "notes"
1600, UPENN M&T ou Wharton primiere choix.

Vous habitez encore aux Etats-Unis?

Oui. En Montreal je me suis assiste au Ecole Secondaire LaVoie et Marymount Academy pendant les 7ieme and 8ieme niveaux, et vous? Quelle est ta ecole?

Ya im from canada too... What school do you think is the best for undergrad in Canada?

In Canada we really have no big diff in where you go, from U of T, to Waterloo, to McMaster, from UBC to Dalhousie the schools are pretty well balanced especially in Ontario.
Here it comes down to location and some departmental stuff, ie dont go to Waterloo for east asian studies

UT is da bomb!!

ha, that's quite excellent :)

damn, i am Canadian, but i don't know a word of french!, i got 600v and 800m, going to apply to Ducane (Duquesne). I think in Canada, U of W Ontario is the BEST!!!!!

J'apprendrai francais.
Yah, that's all I have to say for now. :)

Do you guys think it's worth the tuition to go to the states for Undergrad?

I'm currently comparing U of Waterloo with schools like Cornell, JHU, U of Chicago, Vanderbilt, U Mich.

Canadian schools cannot even compare with those (save Vandy) in academics or reputation.

I would agree. An education in the states is well worth the investment. It is recognized everywhere in the world. Even if you return to Canada you will always have an advantage over Canadian-educated people.
