<p>Idk for simr acceptances were notified before rejections. </p>
<p>@purified Although accepted students were notified first for SIMR, rejections came out about 30 mins later by email. Hopefully, we should hear back by EOD today.</p>

Did any of you guys hear back? Also, I think whoever said their friend got in is trolling because they would’ve sent out the rejection emails soon after the acceptances. The only other explanation is that they sent out acceptance emails and wait listed the rest of the applicants and will inform the wait listers of acceptance if someone drops out. Its all speculation though.</p>
<p>Also, can one of you email her and ask whats up with the apps?</p>
<p>In the mean time, can you all post your stats and application info (e.g. experience, resume, classes, etc) so we can all get an idea of the applicant pool?

Took AP Bio test freshman year, got a 5
Taking AP chem sophomore year, hoping for 5
Job shadows under chem department of FJC and CSUF
Basic Object oriented programming experience
2260 SAT as sophomore
Pre IB
4.5 weighted GPA
essay was about how my teacher told me I would fail the AP bio test but i persevered and got a 5

Our school does not allow any ap sciences to be taken prior to junior year so I am currently taking AP Chem and will be taking AP Bio and AP Phys 1/2 next year.
Lab experience in science olympiad (placed at state in forensics and chem lab)
Will be my AP Chemistry teacher’s lab aide next year
Java and HTML coding
Our school does GPA on a 5.0 scale and I have a 5.0 UW and 5.724 W with a class rank of 3/606
On my resume I had Info regarding Science Olympiad and volunteering, etc. (several hours)
Essay was about my passion toward educating others and how this could be useful and why this made research an invaluable outlet.</p>
