Cancelled Courses?

<p>So I just received notification that a class of mine was cancelled... a UGS course. Not a big deal right? I was told to just email in what classes I'd like to enroll in... Did so, and was then told that they would ATTEMPT to add them in my next "add/drop period". </p>

<p>According to the registration website, my next add/drop period is on the 27th... Are they serious (is that when the counselors will "attempt" to add me)? </p>

<p>Wouldn't this basically shut any sort of chance off seeing as there's one more orientation session?</p>

<p>Not if they add a course after that session, which they often do. Relax, it is their best interest to make sure your courses are in good shape. They are not out to screw you but have to stay proactive and make sure YOU are making sure it happens.</p>
