Candidate Book

Quick question:

On amazon there are two versions of the Naval Academy Candidate Book: How to Prepare, How to Get In, How to Survive. The first is by William Smallwood (1997) and the second is by Sue Ross (2008). Which one would you recommend to get?

Thanks

Figured it out myself.. second versus third edition..

We found the new edition by Sue Ross to be incredibly helpful.

I've had 2 copies of the William Smallwood edition since 6th grade and they have served me well. Helped me get an appointment.

If the Sue Ross is the same book but a newer edition, then go with that one.

i've never seen the Sue Ross edition... like GoinToUSNA, the Smallwood edition was pretty much my bible since middle school. but if the Ross edition is newer it's probably more helpful. i remember the Smallwood edition talking about the PAE (the old CFA) and some other parts of the process that have been changed.
