I have a weighted 3.67 gpa. My highest SAT was a 1310.
What are good schools for a history or political science major that fit these requirements?
Home state? College budget? Geographic preferences? College size?
California. I am able to go full tuition. preferably urban environment or at least a nice college town. love Washington DC, NYC, and Boston. I’m fine with any size as long as it is not more like 25,000
Those three cities have an abundance of colleges especially Boston. You have a good shot at getting into most of them especially at full pay.
Gettysburg College in Gettysburg PA is well-regarded for history, and is in a small but vibrant/cute small town, not too far from Washington D.C. and Philadelphia (but certainly not within the suburban areas…you would need to drive or take a bus…) I think Gettysburg also has good connections for internships. I have a friend whose daughter went there so my knowledge is second-hand from her.
I think you should meet with your high school Counselor, who hopefully knows you, to help you find those very good, but less selective schools for you to consider. Your question is extremely broad. You may qualify for some of the UCs but your counselor should be able to help you calculate your GPA, on the UC scale. It is very particular. As I said on your other post, you have no safeties on your list you made.
As you can see there are plenty of us with experience that are happy to help you, but I think you should start w/ your counselor.
