<p>It’s actually a great idea and the kids are going to have a more enriching, worldly experience because of it.
Just because you select your roommate does not mean it will work out.
And you may end up friends with someone you never would have even spoken to, because of their nationality, race, or major. This is how it was " in the olden days" when my generation went to college. There was no picking and no Facebook or Internet to check them out first.</p>
