I applied for business administration and got admitted to the following colleges: IU Bloomington, university of Arizona, university of Alabama and university of south florida. I did quite a bit of research but still can’t decide. Which of these is the best for academics (more specifically the major I picked obviously)? Thanks
All of them would be perfectly fine. Is there any difference in cost for you?
IU is one of the best schools in the country for business. If you can swing the cost, it may be your best option.
fortunately money isn’t a problem. Thanks for the comments
I agree with @minohi - IU is well known for business… isn’t it? If you have done the research, didn’t that stand out. Or, is it weather that is the difference? Alabama VS Florida, VS Arizona VS Indiana… One of these things is not like the others.
If money’s not a problem and the fit is good, go for IU.
well yeah bloomington did stand out for its business school, and i missed out some parts in my op; i’m trying to decide which of these colleges is better, from an overall college experience aspect with a focus on academics, but not necessarily considering that as a sole factor in the decision.
and in my research i found that all of them offered, overall, an all-rounded, great college experience
They’re all large state schools so your experience at each should be pretty similar. The weather in the Bama, AZ, and USF will be much better than that in Indiana if that’s important to you. I personally prefer colder environments but I’m from Michigan so I understand that its not for everyone. But yeah, all big state flagships usually have comparable environments, though some more rigorous than others. In this case, Indiana wins in both overall rigor and major-specific rigor.
fair enough I’ve been travelling my whole life so i’ve been fortunate enough (and unfortunate in some cases hahah) to have experienced all kinds of weather; but considering that I’ve been living in Denmark for the past 2 years I’d much rather move to somewhere with little rain possibly, as well as high temperatures. Thanks for the comments everybody, looking forward to more peoples’ replies
I agree with IU.
IU is best school of that group and it’s supposed to have a good atmosphere.
