Hi - I know I’ve seen it mentioned in at least one of the UC transfer threads that there is a way to communicate to that particular campus the change of class, I think it was UCSB but that isn’t one my daughter applied to. My daughter is one week into her spring quarter and just dropped one class and added another and of course the TAU is closed. (these are not major prep classes or anything but she wants to notify the schools). We cannot find any way in her UCSC or UCSD portal to notify the schools of the change. On the UC Davis page, we see a page where it says reporting changes in planned classes and a place to click, but when she clicks on it, a message pops up that says “you are not permitted to update your academic record here at this time.” These are the only three campuses she’s applied to. Anyone know what to do? Thanks.
You have to email the UC Application center and they will inform all the UCs she applied to about the change. Their email is ucinfo@applyucsupport.net.
oh Ok - thanks, @HeyItsNick - I thought there was supposed to be a way to do it in the portals but will have her do that.
The change you describe sounds innocuous, but I suggest calling admission at each UC campus to get details on how they want to be notified. An ounce of prevention…
@mikemac - thanks - she did already email the UC application center and they indicated they will inform each UC campus.
