Can't get above 680ish?

I've been taking practice SAT tests this year. I started from a 590 in math, bumped it up to 630, 660, then 690... (this was all before December)
Then I took two practice tests last month, and I was around 680-690.

I'm not saying they are BAD scores, but I somehow can't get ABOVE that plateau...

It's the same with verbal. I always get about 3 wrong in each section.

How can I get above that? Any strategies?

do alot of problems until you get 'math intuition'. Once you have 'math intution' you can't do worse than -1 or -2.

I knew how to do every question on the March SAT, and missed 3 (720). It's more a matter of being able to not make careless mistakes than anything else as far as math goes.

yep. math is simple. there is like one or two probs i don't know how to do, but i make tons of careless errors.
