I can not pay for my college applications
the Cal states and the UC's
I did not qualify for a fee waiver and I absolutely can not pay for the applications

there is no way I can pay them

what can I do?

If you really could not pay for the applications, you would qualify for a fee waiver. I guess…try to get that waiver?

Make an appointment with your high school counselor as soon as possible and discus the situation with them.

I know a kid who was in this predicament a couple years ago. He organized a yard sale – sold some of his stuff he’d be leaving behind when he went to college anyway, his family had some stuff they were ready to sell, and also some friends and neighbors chipped in stuff! He made all he needed for his applications, got rid of some excess stuff, and was able to get the money together quickly that way.

You need to be aware that when there is not even money for the applications that you will be faced with far greater challenges paying for college itself… but putting that issue aside, think of a yard sale or some other quick means of pulling the money together.

thank you!
I’m thinking of selling some stuff in order to do it
