I plan to teach science in high school or junior high. I don't know what major should I choose. I'm not good at math, usually get Bs and Cs. In order to get accepted to the teaching credential program I need to get have certain GPA. I afraid that if I major in physics my GPA will go down. What should I do ? Sigh

If you're not good at math physics is probably the worst science you could choose considering it's math based science.

where you planning to go to school. HAve you considered Geology or if the earth is not your thing ... possibly biology

fyi .. i am a geologist by profession --love it and know many teachers who have a geology degree

What are my alternate majors for science teaching ?
I can pass my courses in math but usually I get Bs and Cs. What major that is easy enough for me to get a degree so I can teach science ? Thanks

LEt me see
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Geology
Environmental Science
Biochemistry
Geophysics

All I can think of

What about if I'm not good at math ? What are the majors that require less math and medium memory ?

Lets see.. one last time.
for little math, your best bet is
Geology, probably followed by Biology then say Environmental Science (or something like it) then Chemisty (probably getting dicey) then Physics (very very math heavy

bio is prolly the easiest between chem, bio and phys...if you are not good at math, bio is the way to go
