Any chance at Cornell?

..........................................

hey i applied to cornell too, and i just got a phone call from cornell alumni, does this mean i got in?

^ i doubt it.
i got a call from a cornell alumni back in feb. too or somewhere around there.

nah, they probably just wanted an informal interview.

almost everyone gets one, and the ones that don't probably don't have an available alumni.

i didn't get one :( they didn't have an alumni near me (in the boonies) for an interview, and i didn't get a call. I kind of wish I had

i got one, it was amazing

^ actually, my alumni caller was from NJ whereas i live in Cali...
i don't know. but i don't think it's anything...

papercuts,

thats odd, what did he want?

seuferk,
don't worry about it, the alumni interviews have virtually no effect on your admissions decision

Honestly, I'll be surprised if you get in.

Just below 2000 in the SATS....lower than Cornell Average??

You still have a good chance of getting in, dont worry
drink some vodka with orange juice while sitting on your balcony or porch, while looking at the sky and s h i t like that ^^
You'll feel better, trust me

SAT and ACT scores are a bit low. Might be difficult to get in....but you'll know on Thursday.

Good luck anyway!
