<p>Has anyone gotten accepted by Appealing ? Or has anyone heard of someone getting accepted by doing this ? Plus if u do appeal, do u send the letter and supporting documents to the admissions office ? </p>

<p>My friend sent his letter last week or the week before, they said he should be hearing back if he does this week. He talked to the admissions lady, and she said people got in through this last year. You can send essentially what ever the heck you want with the letter. You could get a letter from some random person for all they care, but if that letter would sway the decision then its relevant. I read on here someone wrote a 16 page paper, where as my friend just got a rec from a teacher, his updated(better) transcript, and a letter and that was it. He really shoulda gotten in since he was top 20% +1400 SAT.</p>
<p>O the same thing happend to my friend. She is in top 20% and had a number of extracurriculars and so forth. But I'm glad to hear that it is actually possible to get in with this lol Thanks for the reply. And good luck to ur friend also.</p>
