I applied to UT but I wasn't accepted. I am ranked 7.9% of my class so I barely missed the mark. They offered the CAP program and if I do accept it I've already decided that I will be going to UTSA. Now, I know i can easily meet the CAP requirements but I will only be accepted to either Liberal Arts or Undergraduate Studies. However, I want to go to McCombs business school and I won't settle for any less. Should I do the CAP program and try to get into McComb? Or should I just go to UTSA and attempt to transfer straight into McCombs without the CAP program? Or should I just go to U of H? I live in Houston so ideally, I would like to leave out of the city but whatever works best is what I will do.

honestly there is no difference , both ways you are going to have to get around a 3.7 gpa at UH or UTSA i, only difference is that one is guaranteeing you admission to UT and the Other is not , but transferring into UT with 3.4+ from UH is also very easy … so it all depends if your going to stay on campus at UH or commute , if your going to stay on campus then there is really no difference between UTSA and UH , if your going to commute then your going to save around 9 grand , so it really depends on the money in this decision
