I am currently a high school student enrolled in both high school classes and college classes. When I graduate high school, I will also be graduating with an associates degree. I am interested in attending UT Austin, and was wondering about the CAP program. In the CAP program you have to complete 30 hours of credit in order to continue your studies at UT Austin. However, I am a bit confused as to whether or not that would work out for me, because I will have 60 credits by the time I finish high school. Am I still able to do the CAP program? What are your opinions about the program? Is the CAP program only targeted towards people trying to get their associates?
yes you are , 30 hours have to be from the CAP school you decide to go to , I’m in the program its not bad but if you want to do Engineering or Business you have to maintain a high GPA
I read that you have to be offered the program… Are there any qualifications you have to meet in order for it to be offered to you?
@puckedm214 not really, they offer it to Texas residents who are not granted admittance to the university
