I’ll be transferring in the Spring for Sociology and applying to the Social Work program for the fall. I am trying to plan my classes for the Spring and figured getting some capstone classes out of the way would be the best use of my time since I hope to change my major after one semester. I’ve read the requirements on CSULB’s website but I am still confused. Do I need to take 9 units (3 from each section B,C and D?) I don’t need the human diversity or global issues classes at all? I would love to be able to take one more class at my CC in the Winter because I was told it would be a guarantee transfer to satisfy a requirement. However, the winter session at LBCC and the spring session at CSULB overlap by 2 weeks so I would need to find classes that would fit the schedule. I realize I can find this all out at SOAR, but I’m hoping to enroll in that winter class so I’m trying to figure it out on my own sooner than that
