Car on campus as a freshman?

Starting fall 2010 at Rose Hill, can I have my car on campus?

There is a lot, but if you’re a resident I’d seriously doubt it. I don’t know officially, you can call Fordham and ask but it’s NYC, I think they assume you have no use for a car.

I think the rule is no cars for freshmen since the parking is limited. I think upper classmen and commuters can have cars. But a warning: its VERY expensive and you frankly don’t need one. If you are from out of state you can catch rides home or take the bus/train/plane. Or your parents can come get you. We drop off our kid in September and pick up in May. Between then its LaGuardia and the cheapest flights we can find. You dont have a use for a car in New York City. Trust me. Leave the car at home, where its safe, your insurance is a lot cheaper and it will be waiting for you when you come home for the holidays.
