Well im in Hs and i hate it. The reason is i guess i am tired of being controlled. Being told when and where i can go somewhere. Having to beg to go to the bathroom and only being given 5 minutes to get to one side of the school to the other. So im wondering are you college kids as care free as it seems?

I don’t have to ask to go to the bathroom, but I frequently only have ten minutes to get across campus and am so buried in work that sometimes I lose my chance to eat dinner before the cafeteria closes. You’ll have different cares in college than you do in high school, but you will not be carefree.

Care-free college kid. Sounds like an oxymoron.

^lol

Care free college kids? Sure…after a majority of 'em go get plastered on the weekend.
Already squished my stress ball to a pulp :(.

(^Nah, actually I don’t have a stress ball. I should get one.)

Some college kids are care-free, but they aren’t college kids for long. You won’t be care-free, but you won’t have people telling you what to do either. You are just expected to get it done and do things on your own.

Wait, I’m kind of confused by the question . . .

Is your idea of “care-free” being able to go to the bathroom when you want and as long as you want?

You can go or not go to class. You can study or not study for a test. You can sleep late or sleep early. You can go party Thursday before a big exam on Friday or you can stay in study and just wait til Friday night when you are free. Everything is up to you. Just make the wise decision that doesn’t cause you to get a 2.0 by the end of the first semester.

Crap, when I’m in college, carefree is the last thing I’m ever going to be. Joining clubs, rushing fraternities, studying my ass off, interviewing and looking for internship opportunities, going to professor’s hours, TOTAL STRESS… Arghhh what did I get myself into?!?

Carefree my ass. I’m sitting here studying for an accounting exam I have in less than 48 hours. And constantly trying to raise my GPA what little I could.

Depends on what you mean by carefree…and what classes you take/activities you do. Right now I’m very carefree because I’m taking stupid, easy classes. Next semester I will be taking 3-4 lab sciences. I will be very not carefree. But unlike HS, it is my choice to do so.
