I'm thinking about going into business so I've been doing some research lately. Of course, I began with investment banking. Yes, the pay is great, but there are tons of hours and it's very hard to get a job in a top firm if you're not from an ivy league school. So after looking into that and seeing some of it's cons, I tried looking for good careers in business that have reasonable hours, good pay, high upward potential, and something that isn't extremely boring. What I want to know is if there's a job/career that meets those criteria. I assume that I will graduate with a degree in finance or something similar.

Unless you ARE from an ivy***

Bump this up

I don’t know much about the business area, as it is not my field, but there is various types of consulting, program management, budget work, etc

What’s boring is obviously personal preference.
