CareerNet: Non-federal work study

Okay. So if an on-campus job position says 'non federal work study' does that mean that no work study is required and I can apply if I don't have any work study at all? It's too confusing >.<

Work Study is a Federal Program. NON work study positions means that a student who has a fianancial aid award which includes WS cannot appyly.

Maybe if you understood what Work Study was it might help you sift through the jobs.

haha hey roomie :-D

That's not true at all. Fizzysoda, your first intutition is correct; non fed WS means that no work study is required. You should keep in mind though, that on campus employers much prefer WS students, because they don't have to pay them.
