I got my financial packet and it had $4000 worth of work study
so does anyone know how many hrs I need to work?
um. and which jobs are available at nyu? And do you think it's possible to have another job other than this work study? will it be tooooo much?
thanksss!!!

You have to go through their Wasserman Center for work study and research the jobs that are available. You do not have to take the Work study and work wherever you like, but that affects your income for next years FAFSA filing. I think WS is not counted as taxable income on FAFSA.

ohhhhhhh i meant doing work study & having another job :[ my bad.

I kinda want to know the answer to this myself. Is it possible to do work study and have another job at the same time? Or is that going to kill your grades?

If you are going to be a freshman, I would worry about the WS job first. Time management is going to be your challenge. By the 2nd semester you are better at it.
