<p>I need help thinking outside the box. What can journalism or communication majors get jobs in besides what we specialized in?</p>

<p>Just about every company needs to having a writer on staff or contracted as a freelancer. Web site copy, blogs, brochures, ads–none of that writes itself, and chances are good that the company would much rather hire a pro than have a nonspecialist take care of it in-house. </p>
<p>P.R., publishing, media relations… There’s a lot out there.</p>
