Hey guys,
Just curious whether CMU is sending us those ‘Acceptance’ (hopefully) via e-mails or just posting it up on the “Where am I in the Process” section?
I think remember reading that it will take few more days for them to update the result in ‘Where am i in the process section’ so…

@pevsis it’s actually 17.9% :P

82/377 is definitely .2175. Unless you’re talking about the overall Carnegie Mellon acceptance rate. When I said 5%, I was talking about the SCS acceptance rate.

Guys let’s take a step back here. Is it really going to come out tonight? Or is our entire assumption based on pure speculation?

accepted valedictorians / total valedictorians --> 82 / (377+82) is what i meant lol

Shoot, you’re right. I misread/mathed wrong.

Would someone really be working at midnight to make updates…? Or will it be automatic…

@weiyourenma Is that pic for the whole school?

yeah i believe it is for the entire class of 2018

It would most likely be automatic, but still…how plausible is this really?

Probably automatic…

Oh, ok. Then the numbers don’t help whether they’re 22 or 19%.

If I’m this scatterbrained now then what’s midnight going to be like?

If I don’t get in then I’m going to take off tomorrow to try to start some applications.

I discovered that in the html code of Where Am I In the Process, in the decision table cell there is a string of space. In mine, the space is exactly 15 character long, the length of cit restricted.

So’s mine. I think everyone’s is.

Yea that was a really good idea haha. I checked too. I applied to Tepper and mine is 15 characters as well. Pretty sure it’s the same for everyone.

Mine is also 15 characters long although I have no idea what decision would be 15 characters long. I believe it’s being over analyzed. What led you to check out the source?

@-)

Less than three hours now guys…

@BenX97 Too stressed, started to play with the website…
