Hi,
I am hoping someone can recommend hotels that are convenient for CMU graduation. I am actually starting to research for next year’s ceremony and have the list of accommodations from the CMU website, but would like to hear which ones might be the best to walk or use shuttles.

Most of the times we were in Pittsburgh we stayed at the Wyndam Pittsburgh University Center. It’s less than a 15 minute walk to the main campus and in a nice location. Good breakfast options. And it would have been an even shorter walk to where my son’s after pick-up-your-diploma graduation was located. Unfortunately it was full for graduation! (We ended up in one of the suites hotels - don’t remember the name.
I stayed somewhere south of campus in the midst of a bunch of hospitals that had a shuttle when we did the accepted students visit. It wasn’t nearly as nice a place to walk around.
