I'm a senior in high school, who thought she was going to do industrial design the whole time..
But seems as though my friend was able to trigger another major in my head..

I'm applying to Carnegie Mellon University, and was planning to apply to the College of Fine Arts. Design as the first choice and Art as the second choice.
But my mind changed to psychology.. And I know they have a good program for psychology, too.
But to apply to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, I saw that I needed a Math SAT II.. which I don't. So I can't apply to CMU with H&SS as my first choice. My friend suggested me to take the Math SAT II, but I am HORRIBLY weak in math. TERRIBLY. I know I won't get past 600 if I do take it, so I don't want to risk showing horrible scores to CMU..

If I were to get into CMU, would it be better to get in, then change majors? (If yes, then how do I change it??)
Or is it just better for me to take the Math SAT II even if it will look bad..

HELP! PLEASE!
