No math SAT II?

Sorry if this is a silly question. Anyway, I (very!) recently decided to add CMU to my college list, and I already paid to send off my SAT scores and my high school transcript, and started the application. However, I found out yesterday that even applicants to H&SS need to submit a math subject test. Needless to say, it's a little late for me to comply, and to be honest I'd be surprised if I scored over a 600 on Math I or II. I do have three SAT IIs already (lit, french and us history all 770+) so it seems a little excessive anyway. Also, no intention of going into anything math- or science-related.

Basically my question is this - does CMU accept people without math SAT IIs? Even if so, will it significantly hurt my chances? I think I have a very small shot already (bad GPA) and I'm just trying to figure out whether it will be more a waste of money to apply, or not to apply...lol!

Thank you in advance for any help!

You need to call them and tell them your specific problem on the math SAT, hoping for the possible chance they are still in the office. Don’t waste your time on CC asking people who can’t know for sure.

And what about the possibility of taking the SAT II in Jan?
