Carnegie Mellon supplement and NYU supplement?

Hey guys, I'm applying to both Carnegie Mellon and NYU for the regular decision deadline (1/1/14) and I just have a few questions. What is the word limit (or is there one?) for the NYU supplement? As for the three prompts that NYU gives on the supplement, is it best to address all three in the form of an essay or should I answer each question separately (that is, mark a number 1, then answer the first prompt; mark number 2, then answer prompt 2, etc.)?

This might sound like a really stupid question (but I just want to be absolutely sure), but since I have never actually visited Carnegie Mellon and thus have never been interviewed on campus, do I just not put anything at all for that question on the supplement (or should I at least include a sentence, that says "No, I have not been interviewed on campus")?

I appreciate any help I can get, thanks!

For NYU (I just submitted my app), the world limit is 250<x<500. They want you to address both prompt one and two in one essay (“address the following” makes it all inclusive). I’m not sure about Carnegie Mellon, but good luck! Hope this helps with NYU.

Something should be mentioned on the right side bar when you open the supplement on the commonapp

Thanks guys!
