Which one is better for entrepreneurship?
I think NYU Stern. Not 100% sure though
NYU for Business
CMU for CS
Both have amazing programs and connections to further your career. I guess it boils down to do you see yourself in NYC or Pittsburgh?
My experience with CMU is that each school is very separate whereas NYU is more intermingled. So for the most part your experience at CMU will be totally computer science both academically and socially. That was a huge negative for my daughter.
Since the business programs are considered peers, you should focus on the overall reputation of the schools. NYU does not even come close to Carnegie Mellon in terms of overall reputation, and in the long run that will matter more.
CMU has a real campus, while NYU does not. There is also the cost factor to consider. Keep both in mind when deciding.
Which college do you guys think is better for entrepreneurship :)?
Hi guys, I just wanted to post an update that I paid my deposit to Carnegie Mellon. After visiting both colleges, I felt like Tepper was a better fit for me than Stern.
