carnegie mellon vs berkeley

hey, i'm having a difficult time deciding where to go
i'm looking into majoring in chemistry and possibly double majoring or.. minoring in art history (if, that is, possible)
i'm also thinking of med school after graduation

berkeley's got an awesome reputation for its chemistry department but carnegie mellon's small size is pretty tempting too ( i go to a school wih 1500 kids total (sop, jun, and senior..all high school kids) and i can't imagine going to college with at least 4000*4 people total)

i know.. i know.. there are previous posts that deal with this but none of the replies really answer my questions or help me deciding

i really don't know where to go
so please help !

Hrm the weather in Berkeley is nice. Pittsburgh's weather stinks :/, but perhaps it makes you study harder when you don't feel like going outside.

Like others have said, research at CMU is amazing. You get into great internships and jobs. Many go to prestigious companies such as Loreal, for example. Pittsburgh weather is random and weird though, Iunno I can only speak for CMU and I like it sooo....

is pittsburgh's weather dry and cold? cos i hate dry and cold weather

more like wet and temperate weather with random days of cold/snow mixed with random spurts of amazing 60+ degree sunny breezy days which may then turn unexpectely back into rain.
