Carnegie Mellon vs Northeastern vs Tufts

Hi guys,

So I got into Northeastern and Tufts for CS and CMU for Statistics and Machine Learning and I don’t know which one to choose (they are all about the same cost). I’ve always wanted to study CS, but I applied to CMU for statML because it’s not as difficult to get into as their CS program (but according to some people I know that go to the school it’s pretty similar). I was wondering if anyone has any insight into which would be the best choice - CMU and Tufts are very prestigious, but I’m not so into the liberal arts part of Tufts and CMU is supposed to have one of the worst social scenes in the country lol. Northeastern is cool but not as prestigious, although I am interested in the opportunities their co-op program could bring. Thanks for the help!!

CMU. If concerned about the social scene, just think about the students at CalTech.
