Carnegie Mellon's actual admit date

Awaiting news from western PA., and noting that CMU says (on the website) that it will advise by mid-April. I presume that means ALL notifications will be out by then, but I'm wondering when they'll BEGIN notifying regular-decision applicants. I ask because we've got second-visit trips to plan, and also because, for instance, UMD was on the "early March" schedule for regular admissions, and now they've admitted my son three times (regular, honors, and then engineering--all with separate notifications--beginning in mid-February). Yes, this is just fidgetiness on my part, but I'd be grateful to hear from last year's regular admits on when the notification arrived. Many thanks.

it says 3/15 to 4/15

Check out CMU archives from last year. It appears a lot, but not all, decisions were posted online midnight 3-29-09.

Thanks for the sleuthing. Will set the countdown clock for mid March.

Do they ever use Likely Letters?

Likely letters unheard of at CMU.

URMs might have inside info after COD Weekend…

But typically these are observed in HYPBetc…

Painful to wait- best of luck to you and hope it turns out in your favor!

Anyone else?
