<p>Has anyone heard back from FinAid yet and received Carolina Covenant Scholars( the no loan for students demonstrating financial need program)??</p>
<p>You should hear back by mid-April. So towards the end of this coming week or beginning of next week.</p>
<p>Do you know if it’s taking them longer to get aid pacakages together for people with low efc’s? Everyone I know has gotten their packages already, but I got selected for verification and I’m still waiting 
NC State is releasing theirs in mid-April after the amounts for the Pell grant are set so maybe UNC is doing this as well, and people who qualify for it have to wait longer?</p>
<p>@ashleylee, Same here! Everyone I know is already all set in terms of financial aid, but I still can’t access mine (we have a low efc as well.)</p>

<p>Does anyone know how the Covenant program works of OOS students? I know there is a work study, but do out of state students also have a summer contribution(like some private schools do instead of loans)?</p>
<p>We just sent an email to FA. They responded saying that FA should be out by the 15th. hope that helps - we did get notified about a laptop grant so far.</p>
<p>Ugh I still don’t have my financial aid either and April 15th is sooo far away…I wanna know now UNC! Especially being oos, my entire decision depends on fa and I just want to know for sure which school I’m going to :(</p>

<p>did you submit the css? b/c i believe you had to have submitted the css for a cci grant</p>
<p>yes, submitted the css. the info was a bit off because it was before we filed 2010 taxes and i couldn’t find a way to edit the css once i completed it. but i would imagine the info we supplied would qualify me for at least a partial grant</p>

<p>fatpony - wait what? Where do you see “in progress” ?? I thought financial aid could be viewed in the student center and it has those three lists “admissions”, “personal info” and “to do list.” Am i looking in the wrong place?</p>
