<p>Has anyone in-state received an invite to the Carolina Scholar weekend? There have been a few posts about the McNair invites going out but nothing about Carolina Scholar. Just wondering if we should continue to hope or if all the invites have already gone out. Thanks!!</p>
<p>I will post. I was also accepted to SCHC in Dec. No word yet. I did email my admissions rep several weeks ago and he said early Feb. I am thinking that if you are in Honors, one would get something. The past posts show that all the invites were notified by the end of the first week of Feb. So, if I don’t get a package by Tuesday, I will get a letter later.</p>

<p>Yes - I received a Carolina Scholar Finalist packet on Friday (the first). They were FedExed overnight this past Thursday, and supposed to arrive at your house on Friday.</p>
<p>If you’re in-state, the good news is that the Honors college is still a great value. If you are a NMF you have a Leiber which is a substantial award and also gives you a computer. Every honors student gets some scholarship and if you add that to Palmetto Fellows (which I think most honors students would qualify for) you have a really good price for a top program.</p>
<p>To those who did get invites, it’s a great weekend and changed my Ds mind about going to school so close to home!</p>
