CAS Curriculum

I've tried searching the NYU website and other chat forums, but none could provide a detailed layout of the curriculum for CAS. What are the core compulsory courses, and how many must be taken? How many electives can be taken; and how many of these can be taken at other schools? Is there a limit to the number of courses you can take for your major? Could someone provide a sample curriculum for four years? Thanks in advance!

Look at the bulletin, all the info you need is in there.

The core is called MAP, which stands for Morse Academic Plan. It's all on NYU's website.

OK so according to the MAP website, you have to fulfill:
One Expository Writing course
Four Foundations of Contemporary Culture courses
Three Foundations of Scientific Inquiry courses
Two years of Foreign Language

I assume when you clear all the above mentioned requirements, you're free of anymore core compulsory courses? Is there a limit to the number of credits you can take within your major? Also, how many credits can you take from other schools?

you're allowed to take a max 16 credits from other schools, and yes, if you clear all the above requirements, you've completeled MAP.

Don't worry about this stuff yet, it is all explained in depth at orientation
