CAS Likely Letter

Did anyone recieve a likely letter from CAS?

we know who didn't...

guys, i think i did today

My friend got a likely letter today for the CAS; it was dated 03/13. I haven't heard anything yet :-/ I'll be able to check my snail mail in a few hours. It's kind of frustrating as his grades are lower than mine and his SATs as well (by about 400 points). I'm really confused...

please post the content of your likely letter

it pretty much said we reviewed your app, and your a very likely case for admission

if was pretty sweet

Congrats man. Anyone else? (Also put the date of it)

ur friend, definetely is a recruited athlete, they "bend" the standards a bit lol :)

i know 2 kids at duke, 1250 SAT scores for fencing
a kid at Brown, 1200 for lacrosse

baseball player, bad average, sat 1310, UPenn

I got one! =)

Hey, dayobball6, remember how we were freaking out about that Diversity e-mail yesterday (I'm chickadeedee, I just forgot to log out of my cousin's account)? Pretty nice consolation, if I do say so myself lol.

I'll post a scan when I'm not feeling lazy.

lol yeah chikadeedeee! Congrats!

If you all don't mind, could those that received these letters post stats?

I just got one!

everyone is getting one :p

I wish I could get one!

I got one this morning. I am beyond excited. I have a 1420 SAT... and decent GPA. I think the best part of my application was my essay and I heard Cornell loves essays. I worked months on that thing. I'm also a poor URM in an elite prep school which was appealing & different.

its funny, b/c all of u ppl that get likely letters never end up coming to cornell

Gotta check the mail tomorrow . . . and pray

It's funny that someone's life has become so pathetic and wretched that he feels obliged to discredit a school he doesn't like because while attending, his GPA wasn't high enough. No one cares that you're too stupid to achieve what you want at Cornell. Transfer out and save us all the time we take to call you an immature idiot. I can almost hear the world's smallest violin playing for you. Best of luck to you.

Sure, I don't mind. I'm actually in a severe state of shock right now lol.

Essays/Recs: My english teacher said my essays were excellent, and she's very strict, so I'll trust her. As for recs, no clue.
ECs/Awards: Eh...I'm too lazy to list anything...I have some leadership positions here and there, and I have a few regional and state awards from FBLA, but I didn't clone sheep or anything. I think it was my being in Anime Club that did it lol.

I said I would scan it, so here it is:
