What are Penn's strongest majors in CAS and what are the most and least popular majors? Also, can a Penn student tell me more about the Individualized Major program?

There are LOTS of strong majors in CAS. If you mean departments that are highly ranked nationally (i.e., top 10 or top 20), those would include Anthropology, Art History, Biology, Classics, Comparative Literature, Chemistry, Criminology, Economics, English, German, History, Linguistics, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Romance Languages, and Sociology, not to mention interdisciplinary programs like Biological Basis of Behavior and various regional and cultural studies. I’m sure there are others that I’m forgetting at the moment.

To determine which majors are the most and least popular, you can skim the Career Plans Survey Reports for the College graduating classes of 2005-2013:

And in terms of the Individualized Major program, I’m not currently a student and can’t speak from personal experience, but this is a good place to start (if you haven’t already seen it):
